My name is Sol

I have a mailing list where I share with you reflections and stories about work, organization, career and everyday topics that can entertain and help you. In addition to offering you my courses and programs, of course.

I spent more than 16 years working in banking, managing strategic projects.
Those with a 6 or 7 figure budget, a lot of people working on the event, from different countries, in different languages, and from different teams with conflicting interests.
And my role was to get them all to work in line.
In order for the system to be implemented, the regulation to be complied with or the new product to be contracted.
Come on, so that complicated things would come out!

That was my day to day life.
It was complicated and challenging, but also varied and entertaining.
To achieve this, I created a system of organization over time. The one I later came to call my anti-chaos system.
The truth is that I was pretty good at managing projects. And I was recognized for it. From the outside, I looked like a “professional success” person. And I did very well, yes.
However, my personal life was almost non-existent.
And I felt personally very empty.
I have 2 girls, ages 10 and 12, and at the time I was not giving them the attention they needed.
And, besides, I was missing them.
They asked me questions that made me feel like I must be a lousy mother. They asked me questions that made me feel like I must be a lousy mother.
I will give you an example, the one that marked me the most..
My eldest daughter was turning 5 and we were organizing a little party for her with her friends in class.
And, just then, the little girl arrived and asked me: “Mom, are you coming to my birthday party tomorrow?”

¡BOOOOOOOM!
Obviously I was going to go, but… what kind of mother was I being if my daughter was asking me that question?
I felt like a lousy one…
Also, it made me realize that I was being inconsistent.
I used to say that the most important thing for me was my family, but reality was not showing it.
At that time, I was so focused on work that I didn’t have time for anything else.
And I had to realize that this supposedly successful life that I had bought was not mine. That I had gotten myself into a labyrinth that I didn’t know how to get out of.
That my personal life was out of control and was taking me down with it.
And that what I wanted was to steer the rudder myself and enjoy it in a different way.
However, it took something very painful for me to take action and look beyond where I was.
Then I discovered coaching and immersed myself in training in personal and executive coaching.
I then pursued systemic team coaching and became certified as an ACC coach by the ICF..
Coaching literally changed me.
It changed me as a person.
I had already begun my transformation and to put my life in order.
And this made me finish flipping the sock.
It made me realize that I wanted to help others achieve what I had achieved. That order that I had lacked for so long.
In this way I linked coaching with the system I had created myself to organize my chaos. And I evolved my anti-chaos system step by step.
And I have continued to improve it. I have also added tools from neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and other disciplines.
And I also add what I learn from my clients.
Because since then I have helped many people. Some strangers and some former colleagues.
I created my anti-crazy programs “Your Life in Order”, first in 1 to 1 mode and after a while also in group mode. And I have already accompanied more or less a hundred people, which is a lot to say.

After a while, I found that something happened along the way.
I had a thorn in my side, something that had always caught my attention but that I had not yet explored. I reinvented myself. Eso ya lo has visto.
And many people came to me asking me how that process had been. How he had found what he wanted to do, at what point he had made a decision and how they could do something similar.
Or not forcibly reinvent himself, but at least reaffirm his path and direct it in another way.
It caught my attention because that theme connects a lot with me. It reminds me of the process I went through and I like being able to accompany other people in similar situations.
And the funny thing was, at that time when I started getting requests for help on more career-related topics, the opportunity arose for me to train as a professional branding coach for career management.
Sometimes, it seems like things flow like the flow of your river and things come out, effortlessly.
Coincidence or causality? I tend to think the latter.
The fact is that I combine everything I learned in training with my life experience and I take advantage of it to help people take the reins of their professional development.
I also give talks and conferences. And I do individual and team coaching processes.
And now, the most important thing for me, I am living closely the day to day life of my girls.
With the certainty that in what I do I leave my mark. Now I have a clear vision and I am steering the rudder of my life.
Now I’m doing it all.
